About us
Bob Carter Centre Petanque Club have been running since 1984 and currently have 3 teams in the Norfolk County League. We have one team in each of the three divisions! Petanque is a fantastic sport both in a sociable and competitive way.
the summer league matches are held on a Thursday evening from April.
Our Community
Based at the The Bob Carter Centre in Drayton, we have fantastic facilities in a great location.
The club holds a social practice night every monday evening through spring and summer from 7pm which anyone and everyone is welcome to come along and give petanque a try!
The club also holds Prime Competions throughout the Petanque season.
The club is a member of Petanque England and competes annually in the Prestigous Euro cup competition. We also have members who regularly play for the Anglia region and have represented England at national level.

The Bob Carter Centre Petanque
Club celebrated its 40th Anniversary
in March 2024.
The club made its decision to delay
this celebration milestone until the
10th of August hoping for the better
weather to arrive. We were not
disappointed, our anniversary fun day
was blessed with a brilliant sunny day.
Several of our members were unfortunately
away on holidays but a further 45 of us
enjoyed a fun packed day!
